RoboLinux is a unique distro that focuses on incorporating Windows versions XP through 10 within a fully functional Linux operating system. You might never need the Stealth VM features that let you easily install and run Microsoft Windows within most any Linux distro. Still, RoboLinux is a topnotch general purpose Linux computing platform that comes with a choice of leading desktop environments. RoboLinux creates a cloned Drive C from a Windows partition and installs your favorite Windows version with all of your costly Windows software running in a virtual machine.
Why would anyone use Robilinux???
You can download and use the free tools directly from the authors and do exactly what Robolinux claims to do
Sysinternals Disk2VHD will capture any Windows installation you have and you can then use the VM in Virtualbox
The VM's created by Robolinux are the same as you can make by yourself with a simple Google search or 2
Robolinux VM's are no different and they are NOT compatible with all Windows Software
They do NOT provide Graphics card passthrough
You cannot play 3D games in the VM's
You lose the ability to record Audio with Windows XP Audio programs
Same, same, same, same....
Just learn to use the free tools that the Robolinux creator learned to use but did not create himself
It's not that hard and there is no need to donate money to anyone
The tools are free to download directly from the authors and owners
There is absolutely no benefit of using Robolinux or donating to anyone who did not create these tools
Jack I don't completely agree with the concept that linux is "easy" to install. its not... at least not in regard to a typical windows user. why so? because john q does not have a clue regarding "partitions". nor how large to make /boot, /, swap, /home. they're unaware for example that you may place these partitions ANYWHERE on your system (they don't need to be contiguous).

I also don't like VM's. host crashes? now what?
