The Linux desktop has yet to find a home on the majority of consumer and enterprise computers. However, Linux-powered technology has long ruled the Internet and conquered the cloud and Internet of Things deployments. Both Linux and free open source licensing have dominated in other ways.
No notation of FreeBSD or the like?
BSD has low usage, but its routine overlooking is seemingly a problem.
I do believe that the system is reliable and quite reasonable. It has many of the Linux advantages and utility and should be considered. OpenBSD, with its security considerations lacking Bluetooth 4 support and other limitations may be a bit less friendly and NetBSD may try to be too many things to too many users, but all have some need of address here if Open Source is not to mean solely Linux!
