Asus on Monday unveiled an array of new hardware, including a hybrid Windows 8 desktop-cum-Android tablet at the Computex trade show in Taiwan. The Transformer AiO has an 18.4-inch screen that can be detached and used as a standalone tablet. The Transformer AiO boots into Windows 8 and will only transition into Android after the user presses a button. “This is just one version of what we’re going to see in the consolidation for crossover between tablets and PCs,” Tirias Research’s Jim McGregor said.
