Vizio rolled out its first line of computer devices Thursday, including CN15 laptops, the CT14/C15 Ultrabooks, and CA24/CA27 all-in-one PCs. The thin, metallic devices in the computer line have drawn comparisons to products made by Apple. And with the clean Microsoft Signature user interface, they give the user an experience that’s perhaps close to what one would get on a Mac. Signature is a stripped-down version of Windows 7 without third-party ad-ons, which critics sometimes term “bloatware.”
I guess my only comment to this new line of PC's from Vizio is do we need another line of PC's in a weak market for PC's? With HP cutting staff big time, Dell still struggling and others just staying above water. Why intro another line of basically the same stuff as the rest? These Vizio PC's are on par with the likes of a Sony or a Asus and run Windows 7. Big deal. Having built a OK line up of large screen TV's does not make me think Vizio knows how to build PC's.
New Vizio Line Sleek, Light and Kind of Apple-ish
