Mildura, it turns out, is not in the middle of Murray Sunset National Park, and because the National Park features more than 3,000 square miles of Australian bush — replete with poisonous snakes, little water, 100-plus-degree heat and bad mobile reception — it’s not someplace you want to be lost.
