In honor of this year’s Earth Day, celebrated Tuesday, Apple is showcasing its efforts to lessen its carbon footprint and become more environmentally sustainable as part of its ‘Better’ Campaign. The company released new promotional material, including a video narrated by Tim Cook, that outlines its commitment to increasing energy efficiency in an effort to reduce its impact on climate change. Apple wants to leave the world “better than we found it,” says Cook.
Your defense of Google makes no sense. How exactly does Google buying a thermostat company make them "green?' Hell, buying NEST probably cost the Earth about 100 trees they had to cut down to file the paperwork with SEC & FTC. NEST has also recalled one of their two products, how much is that in gas to deliver everything back and landfill for a useless plastic product with chemicals inside. Google buying NEST was not to make the Earth green but to track your everyday movement and actions ... you are confused as to what NEST is or does.
