AT&T plans to use the $10 billion cash accumulated on its balance sheet to prepare for quick closure of deal, Stephens reportedly said at the UBS media conference Wednesday in New York. AT&T is the second largest wireless carrier in the United States, and T-Mobile, owned by Deutsche Telekom, is the fourth largest.
