Facebook erred greatly when it priced its stock at $38 per share for many reasons — not the least of which is that everything it will ever do will be viewed through that overpriced prism. “If the stock had been priced at $10 per share, Facebook could have showed a 32 percent year-over-year growth for its first quarterly earnings, and the market would have stood up and cheered,” said Trip Chowdhry, managing director of equity research at Global Equities Research.
