The value of the 5.5 million shares is about $169 million. Icahn Capital believes that Netflix is undervalued and positioned for expansion both in the U.S. and overseas, according to the filing. It is easy to see why Icahn would say Netflix is undervalued; if ever there were a company whose fortunes have fluctuated wildly, it is Netflix.
