While credit card companies have consistently maintained that credit card fraud is no more prevalent online than in traditional forms of commerce, a number of experts are disputing the notion.
Everything that I have seen and read does relate to these figures, especially within the US, the UK has lower figures. Hopefully things like 3D Secure VISA and SPA Mastercard will remove some of these issues.
I would love to know who I can give credit card fraud info to so that some of these bums can be caught. I run an e-commerce web site and I catch fraudulent orders on a daily basis. I call the credit card company who issued the card and let them know, but I would also like to get the info to law inforcement. Since I have the address these losers are expecting the shipments from you would think it would be easy to catch them. If anyone knows of any organization collecting fraud information I would love to get their contact info.
