The value of the goodies in the apps labeled “Actually Free” comes to more than $10,000, Amazon said. The Actually Free apps can be accessed via Underground, a new app available from Amazon. Amazon Underground is essentially an expansion of the company’s core mobile shopping app. To take advantage of this cache of content, consumers only need an Amazon account, which is free, and an Android mobile device.
