It may have been a long time coming, but Microsoft’s newest Service Pack 2 for Windows XP represents several significant changes to the software. Many of the updates and new features, which analysts have said could amount to an entirely different operating system altogether, center on security. The latest service pack also shows that the company has moved to automatic updates to ensure its Windows XP patches are applied.
XP, SP2..I hope they don't ruin a good thing. Sometimes I resent having automatic or default settings,(firewall, auto update)because people can't and won't take the time to learn to use a computer. I wouldn't buy a car if I didn't know how to drive. I hope the settings can be changed by the user.
