it doesn't seem that Entner understands what Wayport is "really" doing - using the McDonalds' "ubiqitous" coverage of our nation to not have to worry about having to purchase places to set up what could become a future infrastructure. think of it in terms of that famous big picture/long run - they set up wifi contracts with McDonald's now, and they will have a huge footprint already when they are ready to add newer wifi technologies down the road - literally filling the air with internet access as more powerful devices become available, nevermind the resale opportunity mentioned in this article.
