A federal appeals court in Boston has been asked to take a second look at a decision that some say could have a far-reaching effect on the privacy of Internet communications in the United States. The U.S. Justice Department has asked the full bench of the First Circuit Court of Appeals to again hear the case, U.S. v. Councilman.
