Did you actually use the word "popular" in describing the Segway? Popular possibly only to the media that were played for suckers and bought into the line of bull they were fed from this company during the product release. While interesting from a technical standpoint it is a commercial failure. Instead of "popular" perhaps "Infamous" or "over-hyped" or "dissapointing" would have been more appropriate adjectives to describe this product.
