Dozens of documents containing classified information that could affect the safety of U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have been posted on unprotected servers by military agencies and related companies. Documents were found that included details on air base fuel infrastructures, aerial surveys of air bases and material from the Los Alamos National Laboratory. The documents were downloaded from unsecure file transfer protocol servers. Hackers frequently troll FTP networks searching for unprotected sites.
