Google will launch a Chrome OS tablet on the Verizon network Nov. 26, know to retailers as “Black Friday,” according to the Download Squad. The device is being built by HTC, a company that’s made several Android devices in the past. If true, the move will fulfill Google’s announcement earlier this year that it would launch Chrome OS tablets in time for the holiday season. However, it’s not yet clear how Chrome OS tablets will coexist with those running the Android operating system, which is also offered by Google.
Other then maybe being a option for a netbook. I really don't care about Google's OS. Even a tablet from Google is not going to impress me. I tried Apple's iPad and was not that impressed.
Because Apple has done well with its Tablet the iPad. Does not mean anyone else will have even close to that success. Why?
Because Apple knows how to create want for a product. They know how to suck you in with descriptions like revolutionary, brilliant, awesome. Plenty of them Steve Jobs throws around. It creates a flurry of want so high you buy one not even knowing if you need one. I am not sure the people at Google can muster that enthusiasm for theirs.
