Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Wednesday posted a message of support to Muslims in the Facebook community and around the world. Zuckerberg’s post stands in stark contrast to presidential candidate Donald Trump’s verbal attacks on all Muslims, including his call earlier this week to ban them from entering the United States. Supporters cheered when Trump suggested the ban at a rally. “As a Jew, my parents taught me that we must stand up against attacks on all communities,” wrote Zuckerberg.
Its all well and good until a good Muslim goes bad.
As in Paris, California, Fort Hood, or the many Christians killed in Syria and Iraq. Its all well and good to praise the good Muslim. Not every single one is a radical. But let's also be realistic and know some have become radicalized and want to kill us. Let's also do our best to calmly address this in a way that can protect all US citizens. One good way is for moderate Muslims to stand up and be counted as helping combat radical Islam. I think Mr. Zuckerberg was looking to simply take a dig on Trump then actually doing anything to stop the violence. Would he feel the same if a radical Islamic shooter killed many in a Facebook office? When it hits home, your views change. When it become personal, all objectivity goes out the window.
In response to Mr Zuckerbergs protecting of Muslim believers. I don't understand why? The Islamic faith promotes the killing of Jews and of anyone who doesn't conform to Islam.
Zuckerberg Has Muslims’ Backs
