It's no accident that the new Palm Pre smartphone is compatible with Apple's iTunes. The man who helped Steve Jobs turn the iPod and its online music store into a digital revolution is the same man who has helped design the Pre and its well-reviewed webOS operating system. Now that man, Jon Rubinstein, will be the new Palm chairman and CEO, replacing 16-year company veteran Ed Colligan. Shareholders have expectations that a Rubinstein-led Palm will sync with the kind of success Apple has enjoyed over the last 12 years.

Shame on Palm for not shipping the Pre with connectivity to the desktop on the MAC i.e. iCal, Address Book or even Palm OS desktop etc. Palm who invented PIM just forgot all about their longtime Palm users. Not everyone has any intention of ever using GMAIL's limited functionality nor do they want to sync online in a cloud. Some of us still use our desktop calendars and always will. Again shame on Palm - this basic functionality should not be an extra cost by a 3rd party developer!

Should businesses and organizations require staff to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination before physically coming to work?
Yes -- At this point it makes good sense and will help stop the spread of the virus.
No -- It sets a bad precedent against personal privacy and civil liberties.
I'm Not Sure -- There are valid arguments for and against vaccine requirements.
