Atlantic hurricanes will be fewer in number but more intense as a result of global warming, a new study predicts. In the study, which was conducted by scientists at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory in Princeton, N.J., researchers performed hurricane simulations using a new model that they say improves upon previous ones with both higher resolution and an improved ability to simulate past observed changes in Atlantic hurricane activity.

What a joke! Let's see ... how can we explain away that we said that global warming is going to cause an unprecedented amount of hurricanes but ever since we said it, there have been fewer hurricanes than usual?? I know!! Let's say that global warming causes fewer, stronger hurricanes. What a crock. Don't write me off as someone who doesn't believe in global warming. Obviously the planet is getting hotter. It's just the horse manure that gets spread by the 'experts' in climatology is getting old. These kooks are just glorified weather men and don't know any more than the rest of us what the weather is going to do tomorrow much less any time in the future.
