A group of consumers and Apple resellers filed a class action lawsuit yesterday accusing Apple of unfair and unlawful business practices, breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, and violation of consumer warranty laws, documents obtained by The Mac Observer reveal. The 26-page complaint, filed yesterday in San Francisco County Superior Court, was on behalf of Jack Branning, James Seybert, Stacey Blevins, Tom Siechert and Joe Weingarten.

I can agree with this lawsuit. Our company manufactures iPod covers and after talking with some of the "non-apple" stores, I found that they cannot even offer some of the products out there due to the fact that Apple sets up their vendor contracts in such a way that they cannot be sold to any reseller except Apple for a certain "lengthy" time period. This makes it difficult for not only the manufacturers like us but the "non-apple" resellers as well. They can't get the latest products available so customers won't be flocking to their stores.
