I very much prefer to only write reviews of apps and products that I appreciate, that I find useful, interesting, or just plain awesome. This is not one of those reviews. And the app? It's not one of those apps, either. The makers of some products sometimes try hard to make their product appear to be things they really are not. Wrinkle cream comes to mind. Magic? Hardly. Exercise gadgets -- same sort of thing, usually. Sometimes marketing claims will explode full of hyperbole, too.

So Taber Buhl, the developer who created SynchroCam contacted me via email. He updated the description with a link to some tips and screenshots, so for those willing to give SynchroCam a shot, your results might be better than mine.

Better yet, he sent me some links to some photos that really do show off the 3Dish effect . . . so the app _does_ work! This one gets a heckuva lot closer to my expectations. I plan to reinstall the app and keep trying -- it seems as if distance to the subject as well as distance between the lenses plays a role. . . . In the meantime, check this out: http://bit.ly/synchrocam1

If my employer requires me to return to the company's office full-time to perform my job, I will...
Agree, because I like my job regardless of where I perform my duties.
Comply, because I can't afford to lose my current job.
Go with the flow, but start looking for different employment.
Resign immediately, so I can dedicate all of my time to find a job that better suits my needs.
Try to negotiate a hybrid work from home / work in office arrangement with my employer.
