I write to praise the iPad; not to rave about it. Well, all right, I might rave a little bit about it. When you meet the iPad in person, the first striking thing about it is its display. Its 9.7-inch screen, measured diagonally, is arresting. It's so arresting, you may pause to admire it for a second or two before mustering the gumption to touch it. The screen, which has a resolution of 1,024 by 768 pixels at 132 pixels per inch, can be viewed from a variety of angles without the image loss and color degradation seen in laptop displays and desktop monitors.

VERY disappointed? I don't think so. Browsing is very satisfying. I don't miss Flash Ads any more than I do on my iPhone. Most major sites are moving to HTML 5 video for mobile use because of Apple's products. It's getting harder to find something significant that doesn't work. The few sites that are depending on Flash for their presentation? Well, goodbye. They'll have to change.

It seems as though, if the talk is correct, that we'll see Hulu before too long, as we now have Netflix.

As far as Google Docs are concerned, I don't use them, and I don't know anyone who does. In time, they will work properly for those who want them.

If my employer requires me to return to the company's office full-time to perform my job, I will...
Agree, because I like my job regardless of where I perform my duties.
Comply, because I can't afford to lose my current job.
Go with the flow, but start looking for different employment.
Resign immediately, so I can dedicate all of my time to find a job that better suits my needs.
Try to negotiate a hybrid work from home / work in office arrangement with my employer.
