So far, I haven't seen a compelling competitor to my iPhone -- at least, for me personally -- and this includes the new Motorola Droid. It's nice enough, but is it so much better that I'd leave the iPhone? Definitely not, and that includes some Droid widescreen envy. But what about the rumored Google phone -- a Gphone, manufactured by Google, leveraging everything Google does well with the Android operating system? Now that idea makes me pause. Of course, it's just an idea.

Perhaps a cheap WiFi/UMA/GAN Android model designed to replace your house phone? It would compete with Vonage and Skype, but that is already something google already does to an extent.

Vonage and Skype are free to ship a strong Android app too, so they shouldn't be too bothered by it. I'd be interested in a Skype branded Android phone myself.

I hear you -- it could be a pretty compelling device.

If my employer requires me to return to the company's office full-time to perform my job, I will...
Agree, because I like my job regardless of where I perform my duties.
Comply, because I can't afford to lose my current job.
Go with the flow, but start looking for different employment.
Resign immediately, so I can dedicate all of my time to find a job that better suits my needs.
Try to negotiate a hybrid work from home / work in office arrangement with my employer.
