Blogs, once a mysterious online phenomenon, have become so easy to produce that according to blog-tracker Technorati, there are about 30.2 million of them, and about 70,000 new blogs appear every day. Scott Converse wants to do for podcasting what Web sites like Wordpress and Blogger.com have done for blogging: Make their audio and, increasingly, video content so easy to find, choose, download and create that everyone -- from your grandmother to major corporations -- will be using them. So, in December 2004, Converse launched ClickCaster.
