Hotels and other businesses in the hospitality industry can make better use of the
Internet to market and manage their businesses, according to a report released Monday by
professional services firm Andersen.

While the industry has been a "comparatively slow adopter" of new
technologies, the report found that executives do expect over
the next few years to increase their use of the Web
for sales and marketing programs like virtual property tours, as well as for loyalty
programs and guest-history management.

What is new in this article ?
- Nothing.
You just can use data available at the moment (and not for a long time.)
"A vital tool for the industry ......", etc. etc.

That is so obvious!

Would you license your personal data to advertising platforms if you were paid directly for it?
Yes -- So much of my personal data is already in the hands of advertisers anyhow; I may as well be paid for it.
Possibly -- It depends how much I would be compensated and how the data I authorize to share would be used and protected.
No -- I would not sell my personal data at any price.
