It would be a gross understatement to say the Mac faithful are eagerly awaiting a new office productivity suite from Apple. For rumor sites and Mac-focused blogs, the arrival of such software would be a touchstone. We may get a sneak peek during Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference next week in San Francisco. The fact is, it's high time the suite wars were revisited.

Interesting presupposition in this article: that all IT dept's will be automatically upgrading to Windows 2003.
Why? So we can waste time and resources on more lousy MS code? It just takes too long to get any new MS OS debugged, relatively secure, and functioning reliably, to even begin to realize user benefits. Maybe it's just the shops that need to justify their budgets, and keep their execs intimidated?
