Whenever Amazon.com chief financial officer Warren Jenson decided to leave his post,
determining when to announce it was a delicate matter. Not that Jenson is leaving under
any kind of cloud. But the fact that no one has pushed the panic button over his departure
is somewhat surprising, not only because of the uncertain economic times but
also because investors often seem to want to believe Amazon is on shaky ground.

It has been a number of years and finally Amazon posts a tiny profit, albeit using "pro forma" data. I applaud Mr. Jenson for a job well done and wish him Godspeed to his next endeavor...now the vultures may attack the newly birthed baby and rip it to shreds...they must be short!
