E-commerce will grow "whether the economic recovery is around the corner or a couple
years off," according to a study released by Forrester Research. Forrester said
that e-commerce will continue to thrive because most Web buyers are in high-income jobs
not affected by the weak economy.

Thanks for putting this article up. I've been researching how ecommerce is impacted by the recession and found several great articles. This is one of them. If you haven't seen it yet, there's also a free video series available at http://blog.worldwidebrands.com that talks about how to beat the recession with eCommerce. It also includes Forrester Research data. They even had an hour webinar with Forrester where they talked about some of these areas in lots of detail.
