The Obama administration threatened Yahoo with fines of $250,000 daily if it wouldn’t comply with demands to hand over user information to the United States National Security Agency, Yahoo has disclosed. Yahoo had filed suit against the demands in 2007, citing the Fourth Amendment. “They basically said you must do this thing that you don’t want to do or we’ll put you out of business,” said Daniel Castro, senior analyst at The Information Technology & Innovation Foundation.

I am sure most ISPs in the USA have received this treatment but because of the absolute terror the Black Suits elicit, no one speaks out.

Black Suits with badges and guns walk into the corporate office of an ISP.
They demand to see the top brass of the ISP.
The Black Suits show them a document, and tell the ISP people that if they disclose the document even exists, they go to jail.
ISP creates account for Black Suits giving them root access to entire network.
Black Suits leave, Everybody at the ISP stays out of jail.
How many times has this happened?
