Windows XP Hacked, Supply Chain Poisoned


"As the Internet of Things grows, we are going to see more Internet-enabled devices, which means more operating systems and more potential targets for malware and rootkits," said the Information Security Forum's Gregory Nowak. "Any such device, no matter how humble, should be seen as a stepping stone which could be used in an escalation attack on more critical systems and data."

Siri May Be Starting a Hope Chest


Siri and Watson may just be at the ogling-one-another stage in their courtship, but IBM hasn't ruled out the possibility of a wedding in the future. "The Watson and Siri interfaces are unique, so getting the two to work together wouldn't be trivial," observed tech analyst Rob Enderle. That said, if IBM and Apple can figure it out, "the end result would be incredibly powerful."
