NSA Shares Its Data Wealth


"The idea that the government is making it easier for not only national security agencies but also agencies dealing with domestic law to access this information is troubling," said the ACLU's Neema Guliani, "and the idea that you don't know what was collected and can't challenge how the information was gathered raises concern that the [NSA] abuses ... are bleeding over into other areas."

Comcast Really Does Hate Its Customers


When Comcast upgrades a neighborhood, technicians disconnect any house that is producing line noise. This could be caused by anything from faulty wiring to a loose cable -- and then they leave. They leave it up to the homeowner to discover that service is down and then place a repair call. In a few days, a tech will show up, locate and fix the problem, and restore service.
