Another Bleak Black Friday for Apple Fans


Will Apple ever offer insanely great Black Friday deals? I don't actually expect Apple to give anyone anything. I've never been into the holidays for the getting. Yet if I were standing atop a mountain of cash and a pinnacle of success with everything purring, I kind of think I'd look for some sort of cheerful way to give something back in a fan-appreciative gesture.

Russian Site Exposes Thousands of Private Videocam Streams


Internet-connected video cameras are great for keeping tabs on the home front, monitoring a sleeping infant, or making sure Aunt Nellie is OK -- but if proper security precautions are not taken, they can be notoriously easy to hack into. A Russian website demonstrated just how easy by accessing -- and publishing online -- thousands of video streams from locations around the world.
