I've been reading a lot of the wireless stories about new technology x and new technoloyg y, etc. and a lot of them just don't sound that great to me.
The coolest thing I read about was a bathroom finder -- a company makes an application that locates nearby bathrooms in department stores, restaurants, public restroom areas, etc. in various cities.
Has anyone heard any other "wow" ideas that make you really want to use wireless services beyond voice calls?

How about a wireless app that lets you know how far the next gas station is? Or when your highway exit is coming up? Or when an airplane is set to land. These are common questions that come up and it would be nice to rely on a PDA instead of a map or phone call...
