It might be the mismatch of the year. The president of a 15-person Manhattan software company said yesterday he was itching for a fight after Microsoft warned his tiny outfit to stop marketing its "TurboExcel" product. TurboExcel allows people to adapt their Excel spreadsheets so they can be run under a Linux operating system which Richard Tannenbaum, president of SavvySoft, believes is the real reason Microsoft is picking on his firm.

Just so long as they don't give in at some point, like the Lindows/Linspire people... I really wanted to see Microsoft scramble when they lost the supposed Windows trademark. :(
