Earlier this week, I came home from a well-earned vacation in Las Vegas to find an e-mail waiting for me from my editor, which had the following message in the subject box: "Open this after you've had a few drinks."

Um... Plugged "staroffice word count" into www.google.com and had the
answer in under a minute.
(Typical journalist... unwilling to do even the basics of research and needs
the answers handed to them in predigested form in a press release.)

Typical smart a** remark. You took an opinion piece that was written 2.5 years ago and tried to comment on it today using your own faulty logic and reasoning.

That's about as useful as arguing with someone from the 13th century about the world being round.
