Zuckerberg Talks His Way Into Chinese Hearts and Minds


Mark Zuckerberg may have decided to learn Chinese even if it weren't good for business -- his wife and her family speak Mandarin. That said, it is decidedly good for business too. "Knowing some basic Chinese and Chinese culture will go a long way," said UC Berkeley business prof Chris Tang. "Showing respect and understanding can make your potential partners open up to discussions."

AT&T: We Told Our Customers 'Unlimited' Doesn't Mean 'Unlimited'


Instead of renaming its "unlimited" data plan something more accurate, AT&T just decided to start throttling its unlimited customers. In its defense, it claimed it informed them of the change through bill notices, a press release and text messages. That wasn't good enough, according to the FTC, which is suing for "substantial monetary relief" -- and a better plan description.
