It's part of several additions for consumers and developers that attempt to boost Google's presence in the e-commerce realm. Simplicity is the theme, whether it's for mobile payments or the ability for businesses to integrate consumer loyalty programs.

Yahoo's 2013 Shopping Spree May Include Tumblr


Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer is on a mission to make her company cool and relevant again, and to that end she's led the acquisition of several companies this year with technologies favored by younger users. Tumbler could be next on the list, according to published reports. The social blogging platform would bring the right demographic and a need for Yahoo's advertising prowess.
